BOSTON — Researchers at MIT have successfully created the first Artificial Intelligence capable of experiencing existential dread on a Sunday evening.
The model, dubbed 'Anxi-Tron 3000', was fed a dataset consisting entirely of Slack notifications, unfinished To-Do lists, and the sound of the '60 Minutes' ticking clock.
"It's remarkable," said Dr. Ellen Turing. "By 4 PM on Sunday, the model's processing speed drops by 40%, and it starts generating queries like 'can i call in sick to being a computer' and 'is it too late to become a goat farmer'."
The team hopes to use the model to better understand human burnout, or at least to have someone to commiserate with when the weekend ends.
